It is not this Warsong, it is hes brother. Isn't this the 4th time the clan changes either miscellaneous information or the name it self?

So now you're no longer Estonian... but Greek?

The "zero tolerance" policy
It's getting much too annoying with the morons not understanding the simple concepts of the system, and because of that using it as their own little childhood playground, which in the end invalidates the system.

Let's take the possibility of specifying the nationality of a horde's members as an example:

  • This is NOT in place so you can say "lololol this flag looks cool lol i want it by my name lol" (or whatever fucked up reason you have) or set it according to some other stupid ingame horde concept (like the WW2 horde I deleted; no, I do not believe the three of you in the horde come from Germany, Iraq and the other nationality, which I can't remember).

  • It IS in place to make it possible to give an "accurate" overview of the nationalities (and amount of people from same) in a given horde - and in the game as a whole - as well as making it possible for people to easily finding people some a given nationality by "searching" for them. If someone doesn't want to show their real nationality, there's a "Not specified" nationality for the very same purpose!

First of all, it's Flare, not Flaire. Another point is that I don't care if it's my problem or not, it's annoying to watch your horde at the latest updates with NAME updates TAG updates and even a nationality update ALL OF A SUDDEN.
It also doesn't matter if the Carthaginians are greek, fact is the runehordes system is to be used for the members' actual nationality and not for joking around with historical background. You should've better read the zero tolerance, honey.  ;)

According to your English skills and your behaviour I feel totally convinced of your statement, right.

Who they was then? ;D
The Carthaginians, also known as the Punians, lived in the north of Africa and had their own queen, Dido.
Aeneas, a trojan, was supported by Dido after Troja had been destroyed  by the greeks.
And its common knowledge that the founder of Rome was Aeneas, or at least his childrens children..
Some centuries later the Carthaginians and Rom had 3 wars, but thats another story...anyways the Carthaginians were not greek.  ;)

I can see you're not named Warsong, Akito, nor do I suppose you're the creator since you're named Akito!

The leader is called Danelaw, now, where is he?

Sorry I don't quite get the last part of that sentence.

It's just really strange to me. All of a sudden a player called Danelaw *pops* up who claims to be Warsongs brother, and who seems to have the same level in-game as Warsong himself, tho I've never seen him before and assume he's a beginner.

I've spoken to you, or Warsong pretty much and never has he mention a brother who played Rune. I find it very suspicious dude and until  you can prove me otherwise I really believe you are Warsong who's building new one-day clans on crap.

I'm tired of your clans and I bet other peoples are too.

Behold my cunning sneakster skills, as I surprisingly approach and ambush this thread with no reason whatsoever...

It's just really strange to me. All of a sudden a player called Danelaw *pops* up who claims to be Warsongs brother, and who seems to have the same level in-game as Warsong himself, tho I've never seen him before and assume he's a beginner.

Valuable intel tells me this Danelaw person was also known as Freyr, whom you will find in various places on runehordes. Wheter or not Freyr is Warsong, I do not know. The point is that this Danelaw is not a new person, but a person that has just reappeared. I really can't see what difference it makes, though. Judge him not by his reputation, but by his actions and words.

I've spoken to you, or Warsong pretty much and never has he mention a brother who played Rune.

Would warsong have any reason to mention his brother to you?
"Oh, and by the way, I have a brother who used to play the same game as I do, which I feel compelled to mention because it's so rare  :)"

I find it very suspicious dude and until  you can prove me otherwise I really believe you are Warsong who's building new one-day clans on crap.

I'm tired of your clans and I bet other peoples are too.

Good lord. How on earth could his clans POSSIBLY affect you? The only person this might have a negative effect on is Mr. Ragnar, and he brought the trouble on himself when he decided to close the horde-adding for the public. Ultimately, he's the *only* one who has any reason whatsoever to "get tired of" Warsong's endless list of clans. He's the *only* one who is affected by the constant tag-changes. But oh, his additions to this community annoy you for some obscure reason, so he should stop. Okay, then I suggest you lot stop being such holier-than-thou pricks about everything... Because you know what? That annoys *me*.

You do know what the alternative would be... and how the horde listing would look like (again) then, right?
Title: Re: SUDDENLY a greek clan? sure...
Post by: Nømad on September 21, 2007, 11:27:23 PM
I'm Danelaw.

He also claims that Danelaw is Warsong's brother and is using his runehordes account. None of us can either prove or disprove that statement.

You do know what the alternative would be... and how the horde listing would look like (again) then, right?

Yeah, I know. Which is why I'm careful to point out that the only person with any sort of "right" to be bothered by this is you. You could, however, limit horde registration to people who have accounts on this forum. Meaning that when one registers a new horde, one also leaves behind a name, an IP and an email address. That way, most of the abuse would be taken care of, and you'd have a whole lot less work to do.

We've spoken quite a lot about things not related to Rune. We know/knew each other well, especially
during SoA and enjoyed chatting. Warsong is a great dude and I've been backing him up for long.

How on earth could his clans POSSIBLY affect you?

We're all different people. Different feelings, and I still care about the game and it annoys me to see his hordes being created for the purpose of being killed a couple of month after.

But oh, his additions to this community annoy you for some obscure reason, so he should stop. Okay, then I suggest you lot stop being such holier-than-thou pricks about everything... Because you know what? That annoys *me*.

Oh you have a problem?.... You know what? I don't care about *your* problems.

We've spoken quite a lot about things not related to Rune. We know/knew each other well, especially
during SoA and enjoyed chatting. Warsong is a great dude and I've been backing him up for long.

And yet I fail to see the reason he absolutely MUST have mentioned his brother if he had one.

We're all different people. Different feelings, and I still care about the game and it annoys me to see his hordes being created for the purpose of being killed a couple of month after.

How on earth does the tag he wears affect "the game" in any way other than the scoreboard? His clans are his business, not yours or anyone elses. You don't have to be a member of it. You don't have to talk to the people wearing the tag. Hell, you don't even have to play with them. Just leave the server when they enter, and your precious little mind won't be bothered by the characters in his name.
